Ride the Rainbow Supports Pediatric Care at UH
Ride the Rainbow 2022: Tuxedos & Tailgate, presented by PNC and Serpentini Auto Group, was held on Saturday, May 21 at FirstEnergy Stadium. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the event’s sponsors and guests, more than $1 million was raised for the Rainbow Babies & Children’s Foundation, which supports the vital work of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s.
Led by event co-chairs Colleen Abdalian, Amy Foti and Danielle Weiner, Ride the Rainbow was held under a beautiful tent on the north patio of the stadium. Despite stormy weather, the event guests safely gathered to support UH Rainbow’s patients, families and caregivers.
Patients like Kerry, Makenzie and Kara, whose stories you can watch above, are an inspiration to us all. Kara was in attendance and graced the event’s guests with her amazing gift of music, which she developed and nurtured while being treated at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s. It’s stories like these that allow us to see and appreciate the rainbows that inevitably follow the storms.
