Your sustained commitment, expertise and passion for the UH system and specifically UH Elyria Medical Center is vital to our success as we continue to serve our community. And your continued support of our annual Volunteer Leadership Campaign will show that those closest to UH believe strongly in its mission and long-term success.

For more than 110 years UH Elyria Medical Center has been a cornerstone of the Lorain County community. Our funding initiatives compliment UH’s focused efforts in our community. Over the past few years we have seen results in the recruitment of top cardiac surgeons, capital investments in new operating rooms and high-quality community outreach. We remain committed to delivering an enhanced patient experience and meeting the healthcare needs of our community through the continuous improvement of our people, places and programs.

In 2025, UH Elyria Medical Center will continue to focus on:

• People – staffing and staff retention have been a challenge. Your support will aid us in attracting and retaining top talent.
• Places – The Foundation’s recent commitment to the Intensive Care Units and Emergency Department in UH Elyria provides a major upgrade to our facility. Additional individual support will complement these improvements.
• Programs – continued behavioral health programs, music therapy, as well as professional staff development for all UH Elyria caregivers is critical to our success. Your support allows us to continue these important initiatives.
