Established in 1985 with three full-time faculty members, the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery has now grown to 49 full-time faculty members and numerous residents and fellows thanks to the vision of the department's founder, Anthony J. Maniglia, MD. His energy and departmental leadership was fueled by his constant pursuit of excellence in clinical care. To honor his legacy and connect with the growing number of current and former residents, the Department of Otolaryngology is establishing the Anthony J. Maniglia, MD Otolaryngology Alumni Society.

An annual membership to the Anthony J. Maniglia, MD Otolaryngology Alumni Society is $250 and 100% is tax-deductible. Your support will help the alumni society foster academic and educational freedom and enhance the educational mission of the Department through the funding of these initiatives:
- Design and implementation of innovative teaching methods and programs;
- Creation of workshops and seminars in medical education;
- Supply tools to improve teaching and leadership skills;
- Provide enhanced simulation for residents;
- Development of new curricula.
