Cleveland Entrepreneur Donates New Sneakers to Kids in Need
With Nike boxes stacked high behind him, Hayden Speeth couldn’t stop smiling as he handed out new pairs of sneakers to more than 100 Cleveland children. Hayden donated the sneakers as part of the 440 Kicks for Kids event, which was held August 27, 2022, at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Ahuja Center for Women & Children.
This is the second year in a row the 21-year-old founder of 440 Kicks, a sneaker reseller and apparel business, has teamed up with the staff at the UH Rainbow Ahuja Center for Women & Children to donate sneakers to kids in need.
The families who attended are working with UH Rainbow Connects for social determinants of health and were identified as needing properly sized shoes for their children. The kids were also able to get their photo taken showing off their new sneakers, play in the bounce house and eat some lunch.
