The Family and Child Life Services department is a team of professionals who strive to ensure the best patient and family experience at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital through individualized assessment, intervention, education and advocacy.

The department is home to many disciplines that work together to provide the highest quality care. Staff include child life specialists, child life assistants, art and music therapists, school teachers, Family Resource Center staff and the Angie’s Garden rooftop team. Thanks to their work, children and families are able to better manage the hospital experience.
