Hampson Mole

As a University Hospitals employee of more than 40 years, Susan Buzas was familiar with UH Elyria Medical Center and the Hampson Mole Breast Health Suite. When she became a breast cancer patient herself, there was no question about where she would go for treatment.

Susan was treated by Keith Warner, MD, Medical Director of the Hampson Mole Breast Health Suite. She praised his considerate and straightforward manner. “Dr. Warner always took the time to listen, explain and listen again. He made sure I knew what to expect going into any procedure. I am a cancer survivor and it is because of the Hampson Mole Breast Health Suite.”

That superior patient care was recognized in November 2020 by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NABPC), making it the only accredited breast center in Lorain County. As a NAPBC-accredited center, the Hampson Mole Breast Health Suite provides evidence-based, multidisciplinary services focused on high-quality care for patients with breast disease.

The Hampson Mole Breast Suite is continually working to improve patient outcomes, especially for the underserved communities of Lorain County. If you are interested in learning how to support the Hampson Mole Breast Suite at UH Elyria Medical Center, make a gift online or contact Jonathan Logue, Development Officer at UH Elyria Medical Center at Jonathan.Logue@UHhospitals.org.
