Kylin Nixon has been diagnosed with Dravet syndrome, a rare and catastrophic form of epilepsy that causes frequent and prolonged seizures. He sees UH Rainbow physicians in a variety of specialties, such as neurology, gastroenterology, speech and occupational therapy. His appointments range in location, from Cleveland to Parma, Westlake to Solon. For his family, who lives in Lorain, the travel alone can be exhausting.
The new Zagara Pediatric Specialty Clinic at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital will bring many specialty areas and services under one roof, allowing patients and families to see multiple providers in one trip.

UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital is nationally recognized as a leader in pediatric care, with patients traveling from across the region to see our care teams. In some cases, patients need to see more than one provider but coordinating these visits is often difficult, requiring travel to different locations, often on different days, which may prevent patients and families from receiving the full support they need.
Following renovations, the first floor of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital will be home to the new Jeannette and Frank Zagara Pediatric Specialty Clinic. The clinic will bring services together in one convenient location, making it easier for patients and families to access vital coordinated care.
