A Rockin’ Summer Soiree

Roger Daltrey at event benefiting UH Rainbow Babies & Children's

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist, founder and lead singer of the rock band The Who, Roger Daltrey

UH benefactors Char and Chuck Fowler co-chaired a special event, A Rockin' Summer Soiree, on July 24 at The Shoreby Club in Bratenahl, raising more than $300,000 for Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's.

Hosted by the Bratenahl Circle of Friends, the event featured Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist, founder and lead singer of the rock band The Who, Roger Daltrey. Roger has partnered with Team Cancer America to build awareness of how to improve the lives of teens and young adults with cancer.

Before the event, the Hall of Fame rocker and teen cancer advocate paid a very special visit to patients and their families at Angie's Institute. Daltrey presented a guitar co-signed by bandmate Pete Townshend, which will be displayed in the lobby of the new 7th floor inpatient unit.

Join Roger and make a difference in the lives of the young adults who count on Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's for care.
