Five Star Sensation – A Sensational Celebration of food and wine benefiting University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. Chaired by Carole Carr and headlined by celebrity chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck, this culinary extravaganza is the most unique benefit in Cleveland--and a major source of support for UH Seidman Cancer Center.
Held for the first time in 1987, the biennial Five Star Sensation has provided $14 million for the Seidman Cancer Center. These funds support the Seidman Cancer Center’s patient education and information, community cancer screening, survivorship, music therapy and clinical trials programs.
The 2013 Five Star Sensation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Under a luminous outdoor tent, patrons will sample the finest delicacies prepared by chefs from across the continental United States, as well as Hawaii and Singapore. To complement the chefs’ cuisine, select wines from premier domestic and international vintners will be featured at the event. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to bid on extraordinary items in the silent auction.
