2009 Radiothon a Big Success!

The 7th Annual Rainbow Radiothon held on November 12-13, 2009 raised $325,000! Our new friends from 102.1 WDOK, Trapper Jack, Terry Moir and Jim “Infoman” McIntyr, hosted two inspiring twelve-hour broadcasts. We would like to thank everyone in our community who shared their stories, called in with donations, and helped make this a truly memorable Radiothon which will make a world of difference in the care we provide to our littlest patients and their families.

Since its inception in 2003, the Rainbow Radiothon has inspired almost $2.5 million in donations for family and child life programs at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. Radiothon celebrates all the kids at Rainbow who are fighting difficult health challenges, as well as the generous people who have supported these children through their donations, time, and passion.

All funds raised through Radiothon stay right here at Rainbow and are used for critical treatments and procedures as well as complementary therapies such as art, music, and an in-house tutor.
